What do you need to buy a real estate in Serbia on credit?

Non-residents, Serbian citizens working abroad and earning income there can apply for a home loan in Serbia. The main conditions are:

  • Serbian citizenship
  • Minimum one year of employment with the employer
  • Company in business for more than two years
  • 50% credit indebtedness

Mortgages for employees abroad

Mortgages for employees abroad can be granted to residents who are Serbian citizens, as well as foreign citizens with income outside of Serbia. On the other hand, non-residents face restrictions on most banking transactions, including lending, while resident foreigners are financed by banks under the same conditions as Serbian citizens. Serbian citizens living and working abroad can apply for mortgages indexed in dinars or euros.
